Knowing Your Laws Before You Bid:
We reserve the right to refuse a bidding account to anyone. We are an FFL Dealer, and ALL Federal and State firearm laws govern every aspect of our online auctions, any infractions will be reported to your local law enforcement and the ATF. You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a rifle or shotgun. You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase a handgun, this also includes “Other firearm” (receiver, frame & pistol grip shotgun). You must be age 18 to purchase long gun ammo and age 21 or older to purchase handgun ammo. You are responsible for knowing if your state allows any certain type of firearm, ammo and/or accessory can be shipped to you and your state. If you purchase an item that cannot be shipped to your state, you still must pay for your invoice and we will relist the item/s in the next up coming auction and issue you a check minus a 20% relisting fee. Know your state/federal firearm laws BEFORE bidding. All invoices must be paid. NO EXCEPTIONS.

1a.) Local Pickup
Orders that have already been placed online and paid can be picked up Monday through Friday 9am-3pm.

Please Note: Orders that have not been picked up within 5 business days will be canceled without notice, you will receive a refund minus a 25% restocking fee.

Orders picked up at our location will be charged sales tax 8.6%. FFL’s that qualify as Tax Exempt must complete an Arizona 5000A Form, TPT (current year), Copy of AZ Identification, copy of your FFL. If order is placed online this must be done PRIOR to placing order.

You must bring a Valid Government Issued Photo ID that includes your current physical address, and date of birth. You must be at least 18 years of age to pick up Long guns. You must be 21 years of age and a resident of Arizona to pick up Handguns, Frames/Receivers, or a Pistol Grip Shotgun. All Firearm transfers will require a completed ATF Form 4473 or an FFL Transfer Form to a Valid Federal Firearm Licensee.

2b.) Shipping
All Firearms Must Be Sent to a Federal Firearms Dealer (FFL) – NO EXCEPTIONS
All ammunition orders will be shipped by ground UPS and Adult Signature Required, ages 21 years or older. – NO EXCEPTIONS.

Firearms are shipped via USPS or UPS (at our discretion). Handguns usually are shipped with a flat rate charge through the most appropriate shipping source. Long guns will typically ship ground. We do our best to provide low cost shipping for our customers, we will only charge you exactly what we pay the shipper.

We will ship all items with declared value (insurance). Customers have the option to request that NO insurance be added, if customer decides to not have insurance added we will need it in writing, and Sierra Tactical Auctions will not responsible for any lost/damaged shipping items.

Once we have received the copy of the FFL for transfer, we will create your label and email your SHIPPING INVOICE (invoice number 2, this is the best way to keep shipping cost accurate) when payment is made and your package is picked up and scanned you will receive and email with your tracking information. Please allow up to 15 days before calling about your delivery. We cannot control the speed of UPS or USPS’s delivery or its guarantee for delivery dates.

Although we do our best to promptly ship all item after the auction, please allow up to 14 business days after you have made your final payment for shipping to inquire about it. You will receive tracking (if available) once your package has been scanned at pickup for UPS and your label made for USPS.

For Accuracy of the shipping cost, shipping will be calculated and invoiced separate from your 1st auction purchase invoice. It is the responsibility of the bidder to make payment for the 2nd invoice when received, in order to make sure the package/s are sent within the scheduled pickup times.

Almost every shipment will include mandatory insurance, tracking & signature delivery confirmation. UPS and USPS are currently the only shipping service STA uses at this time. Your shipping rate will be the exact cost of calculated shipping and any fee associated with the above-mentioned inclusions.

STA will waive Insurance, tracking, or signature confirmation (for non-firearm items only) on your package, only if notified in writing by the bidder to STA

2.) Local Pickup (Buy-It-Now Purchases ONLY)
Arizona residents may pick up in person with a Valid Arizona ID. Arizona residents may also have their items shipped at their expense, you MUST call or email the firearms department if you are wanting items shipped by the 3rd day of auction closing to avoid storage fee of $10 per day per lot.

Pickup Days & Times:
Tuesday thru Friday 9am-3pm

You may request a later pickup time if needed, however you MUST make arrangements with the firearms department ONLY. If no arrangement is made by the 3rd day of auction closing on the 4th day (Friday) you will be charged a storage fee of $10 per day per lot.

– Only the bidder will be permitted to enter the firearms dept.
– No children under the age of 16
– Please have your AZ ID and copy of your paid invoice available
– FFL dealers MUST show ID and bring a copy of current FFL

3.) Ammunition Shipments (Buy-It-Now Purchases ONLY)
ALL AMMO IS SHIPPED VIA UPS GROUND
There are many restrictions across the country, and we will only ship ammunition to City and/or States where we legally can ship and/or there are no or certain restrictions. Below are the following States with restrictions.

ALASKA & HAWAII – Due to shipping restrictions we will NOT ship ammunition.

CALIFORNIA – We will not ship ammunition to L.A., Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco or Avalon. The rest of CA we will ship to, only if it is sent and processed through an FFL (Federal Firearms Licensee) Dealer.

CONNECTICUT – We will only ship if bidder/buyer provides a valid certificate for ammunition or valid permit or certificate to purchase or carry a pistol, revolver or Long Gun.

ILLINOIS – We will NOT ship to the City of Chicago, however we will ship to all other areas in the state, you will need to provide a copy of your valid FOID card (Firearm Owner’s Identification Card) along with a copy of your state-issued ID.

MASSACHUSETTS – Local regulations prevent us from shipping and will NOT ship ammunition.

NEW JERSEY – The following calibers will be shipped without proof of a FOID card;
.223,5.56,.308,7.61×51,7.62×39,.270,.243,.30-30,30-06,12 or 20 Gauge, all other calibers will require one of the following: Valid copy of your FOID, Valid copy of your permit to carry or purchase a handgun.

NEW YORK – Local regulations restrict us from shipping to an address located in New York City, however we are able to ship anywhere else in NY but it must be shipped to an FFL holder OR a registered seller of ammunition.

WASHINGTON DC – Local regulations prevent us from shipping and will NOT ship ammunition.

PUERTO RICO & VIRGIN ISLAND – Due to shipping restrictions we will NOT ship ammunition

IT IS THE BUYER’S RESPONSIBILITY:

Contact their preferred FFL dealer in which to ship the firearm(s) to AND provide a copy of the FFL for shipment. Sierra Tactical Auctions will not contact the FFL dealer on your behalf. Unless it is a requirement by the FFL Dealer.

Pay for the firearm(s) in full, including the Buyer’s premium, sales tax (if applicable), $12 administration fee (Per Firearm / Excluding Accessories), and shipping costs.

Notify Sierra Tactical Auctions Firearms Department with any questions, concerns, or unforeseen circumstances that would result in non-payment of their winning bid(s) Sierra Tactical Auctions MUST RECEIVE ALL FFL INFORMATION, BACKGROUND CHECKS and PAYMENTS BY 3:00pm ON THE THURSDAY FOLLOWING THE AUCTION. (C&R) CURIO or RELICS LICENSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. FAXED FFL’s ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED, UNLESS ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE. PLEASE EMAIL TO FIREARMS@SIERRATACTICALAUCTIONS.COM ONLY TYPE 1, 2, 7 & 10 LICENSES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Only after these steps will Sierra Tactical Auctions arrange for shipping of the firearm(s). The buyer is responsible for all fees charged by the ship-to FFL dealer. It is Sierra Tactical Auctions policy that if you do not pass the NICS check completed by the ship-to FFL dealer, Sierra Tactical Auctions will refund your money, less $200 sale cancellation fee and shipping costs to send it back. If the purchase is less than these costs, you will not receive a refund, as the funds paid will transfer to Sierra Tactical Auctions to cover the costs associated with the cancellation of the sale and shipping.

Shipping Instructions
After your Invoice is paid in full. YOU MUST contact your FFL Dealer to where you wish to have your Firearms shipped and have them email a copy of their FFL License to firearms@sierratacticalauctions.com. It is solely the Bidders responsibility to provide Sierra Tactical Auctions the copy of the FFL License. It must include your Name, Bidder & Invoice number. If your FFL Dealer request that we contact them directly to retrieve a copy, this to is solely the Bidders responsibility to request in an email and provide the contact information for the FFL. Firearms are typically shipped within a week of auction ending. Shipping invoice will be sent and must be paid asap. We cannot ship package unless shipping invoice is paid.
